As the curtains closed on the 2025 International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, we at Stone Harbor Hardware couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and excitement. This year's event was truly historic, with over 110,000 attendees gathering to explore the latest innovations from more than 1,800 exhibitors. With over 28,000 organizations and 81,000 building professionals in attendance, this year's show was the largest in over 15 years, and we were honored to be part of it.
A Week of Connection and Creativity
At our booth, we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with numerous amazing industry professionals, each with their own unique stories and projects. The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly our "Build Your Dream" challenge, where attendees showcased their creativity by crafting inspirational mood boards using our versatile hardware collections. The designs were incredible, and we were blown away by the talent and imagination on display.
Congratulations to Our Winner
A special congratulations goes out to Lisa of M & J Construction, who created the winning design for our challenge. Her winning design featured a harmonious blend of our Vienna Lever with Rectangular Rosette, Modern Single Robe Hook, and Zephyr Cabinet Pull, all in the versatile Matte Black finish. This sleek hardware was paired with Natural Wood Flooring Tile, Slate Gray Porcelain Tile, and a Toasted Almond Paint Swatch, creating a striking black and neutral aesthetic.
The genius of Lisa's design lay in its ability to balance contrasting elements while maintaining a cohesive look. The neutral tones of the flooring and paint swatches provided a subtle backdrop, allowing the Matte Black hardware to take center stage. This thoughtful approach highlighted the versatility and sophistication of our hardware, showcasing how it can elevate any space with its sleek, modern appeal.
Satin Brass Hardware Shines
A major takeaway from the "Build Your Dream" challenge was how frequently Satin Brass hardware was featured in the mod board designs that our booth visitors created. This takeaway parallels the trend we are seeing in the industry where Satin Brass hardware is also growing in popularity.
